Log My Drives Support

About

Log My Drives is a free app that helps teen drivers log the supervised driving hours required for their license in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. It tracks routes, conditions, and progress automatically.

FAQ

How do I start logging a drive?

Tap the "Start Driving" button on the Dashboard tab. Select your supervisor and tap go. The app records your route, time, and conditions automatically.

How does the app know my state's requirements?

You select your state during setup. The app has built-in hour requirements for all 50 states and DC, including night hours, bad weather hours, and driver's ed reductions.

What does a supervisor need to do?

Supervisors (parents, guardians, instructors) create their own account and enter the teen's invite code to connect. They can then review and approve each drive.

Can I add drives I forgot to log?

Yes. Use the manual entry option on the History tab to add past drives with the date, time, duration, and conditions.

How do I export my driving log for the DMV?

Go to Settings and tap "Export All Data." The app generates a PDF with your state's official form name, all approved drives, and hour totals.

Can multiple parents supervise the same teen?

Yes. Multiple supervisors can connect to the same teen using the invite code. All supervisors see the same drive log.

Does the app track my location in real time?

The app records your route only while a drive is active. Supervisors cannot see your location in real time. This is a logging tool, not a surveillance app.

Is the app really free?

Yes. Log My Drives is completely free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier.
